     Shelby Dyer is a Soloist with the Colorado Ballet. She began her professional career as a member of Ballet Internationale Indianapolis where she performed for three seasons under the direction of Eldar Aliev, and working closely with Irina Kolpakova, Vladilen Semenov and Tatiana Pali. She performed leading roles with the company in Indianapolis and while touring to Taiwan, Canada, Los Angeles and many other cities in the United States. For two seasons she was a member of the teaching staff of the Clara R. Noyes academy of Ballet Internationale. 

     She then joined Tulsa Ballet Theater to dance solo roles in their productions of The Sleeping Beauty and Balanchine's Western Symphony. After completing the season with Tulsa Ballet, Shelby joined Cincinnati Ballet Company for the remainder of their season. In 2006 she joined Colorado Ballet for it's first season under the direction of Gil Boggs.
 

     Her gala performances include the Florida International Ballet Gala, The Stars of the Russian National Ballet Gala in Chicago and the Vail International Dance Festival. She has also worked with accomplished choreographers Christopher Wheeldon, Vladimir Angelov, Young Soon Hue, Lila York, Amy Seiwert, Jessica Lang, Michael Pink, Domy Reiter-Soffer, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Matthew Neenan, Brian Reeder and Val Caniparoli.

     Her notable perfomances include Lisa in La Fille Mal Gardee, Wendy in Peter Pan, Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Dryad Queen in Don Quixote, Gulnara and Third Odalisque in Le Corsaire, the Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, a Little Angel in The Creation of the World, Fairy Doll Pas de Trois, The Dying Poet Pas de Deux in The Great Galloping Gottschalk, Dew Drop Fairy and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.
